The AZ SkillCare admissions process begins with an initial application.
After your application is submitted, our team will review your information. When accepted, you will receive instructions to complete your account setup, admissions and enrollment paperwork, required documents, payment arrangements, and class placement.
The steps below explain the full process from application to enrollment!
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Follow the steps below to begin the AZ SkillCare admissions process. Submitting an application allows our team to review your program interest and provide the appropriate next steps.

Submit the Initial Application
Complete the online application and provide basic information about yourself, the program you are interested in, and your preferred schedule.
Submitting the application begins the admissions process. It does not complete enrollment.

Application Received
After your application is submitted, AZ SkillCare will receive it for review.
Please make sure your email address and phone number are correct, and monitor both for confirmation or follow-up messages from AZ SkillCare.

Application Review
The AZ SkillCare team will review your application, program interest, and the information you provided.
If more information is needed, a staff member may contact you. When the review is complete, you will receive an update about the next step.

Acceptance and Next Steps
If your application is accepted, you will receive instructions for accessing your student account and completing the remaining admissions and enrollment requirements.
You will then complete the required admissions and enrollment paperwork, submit required documents, review school policies, and select an available payment option.

Complete Payment Arrangements
After your application is accepted, AZ SkillCare will provide the tuition amount, payment due dates, and available payment options for your program.
Your class placement is confirmed after all required admissions and enrollment documents are completed and the required payment has been received or an approved payment arrangement is in place. A receipt will be provided for each payment.

General Admission Requirements
- Complete the AZ SkillCare initial application.
- Provide a valid email address and phone number.
- Select the program and available schedule that best meets your needs.
- Complete all required admissions and enrollment forms.
- Provide any identification or supporting documents requested for your program.
- Review and accept the school policies and student agreements.
- Make the required payment or establish an approved payment arrangement before class placement is confirmed.
Program-Specific Requirements
- Requirements vary by program.
- CNA exam preparation students may be asked to provide information about previous healthcare education, training, certification, or work experience.
- Students applying for a program designed for home health aides may be asked to provide proof of HHA training or employment.
- Other skills-review or advanced preparation programs may also require proof of previous healthcare education, training, certification, or employment.
- CPR and BLS participants must meet the requirements listed for their selected course.
