Study Resources

LEARN • PRACTICE • PREPARE

Study with a purpose. Practice with confidence.

Healthcare learning is more than memorizing information.

Whether you are preparing for the Florida CNA exam, strengthening a clinical skill, reviewing medication-assistance concepts, refreshing CPR/BLS knowledge, or building your healthcare foundation, AZ SkillCare helps you focus on what matters and know what to do next.

Use this resource center to review, practice, prepare, and connect with additional support when you need it.

What Are You Preparing For?

Choose the area that matches your current goal. Start with one focus, use the resources that apply to you, and move to the next step when you are ready.

CNA EXAM PREP

Preparing for the Florida CNA Exam? Start Here.

Instead of trying to study everything at once, divide your preparation into smaller goals. Learn what the examination requires, build your knowledge, practice questions, rehearse clinical skills, and prepare for exam day.

AZ SkillCare provides educational preparation and student support. Certification, examination, and credentialing requirements come from the organizations responsible for those processes.

Five steps

01

Understand the Exam

Know what you are preparing for before you begin studying. Use current official information for application, eligibility, testing requirements, candidate instructions, and exam administration.

Prometric — Florida Nurse Aide (official external)

02

Build Your Knowledge

Review one subject area at a time instead of repeatedly reading everything. Focus on understanding why a procedure is performed, what keeps the resident safe, what falls within the nursing assistant’s role, when information must be reported, and how resident rights affect care.

03

Practice Questions

Practice should show you more than your score. Use questions to identify what you understand, topics you consistently miss, words in questions that change the answer, and areas that need additional review.

Do not simply memorize an answer because you have seen the question before. Learn the principle behind it. These are study questions, not Prometric examination questions.

Practice Clinical Skills

Watching a skill and performing a skill are different. Use demonstrations and checklists for review, then physically practice the complete skill until the sequence becomes familiar.

Pay attention to opening steps, safety, communication, privacy, infection control, required measurements, closing steps, and indirect care throughout the skill.

Prepare for Exam Day

Your preparation should include the test day itself. Before your scheduled exam, confirm the testing location, reporting time, required identification, what you may and may not bring, clothing requirements, current testing instructions, and documents required by the testing provider.

Always verify current exam-day requirements directly with the official testing provider before the appointment.
